Aurangabad Records 123 Fresh COVID-19 Cases

Mumbai: An official said 123 individuals tested positive for coronavirus in the Aurangabad district of Maharashtra, taking the number of cases to 21,515 on Wednesday.

According to a release by district officials, in the latest COVID-19 cases, 67 are reported from Aurangabad city limits, while 56 are in rural areas.

So far, 21,515 cases have been reported in the district, out of which 4,430 patients are currently undergoing treatment, the figure has been revealed.

The official said that at least 287 patients were discharged from various hospitals on Tuesday, which was 16,440.

As of Wednesday morning, the death toll in the district was 645, he said.

Meanwhile, India’s novel coronavirus tally rose to 32.34 lakh on Wednesday with 67,151 more people testing positive for the infection, while the recoveries have surged to 24,67,758, the Health Ministry said.
