Ayushmann Joins UNICEF, Indian Govt To Fight Sexual Abuse Of Kids

Mumbai: Ayushmann Khurana a Bollywood actor, known for his portrayals of ordinary men has recently joined the hands with UNICEF and the Government of India to raise his voice against sexual abuse of children.

Ayushmann immediately said yes to the proposal by UNICEF and Ministry of Women and Child Development.

He wants to do his best to help the government.

“As a socially-conscious citizen, I want to spread the word on matters that need immediate attention. POSCO (the protection of children from sexual abuse) Act is a very important step that the government has taken to make people aware about the protection and legal support that the act offers against child sexual abuse.” Ayushman said in a statement.

Ayushmann is very happy to be part of the cause.

Along with this, the Khuranna has three upcoming projects. He will play the role in Bala, a film on premature balding, which will mark his second collaboration with Yami Gautam and third with Bhumi Pednekar.
