Ayushmann’s Wife Tahira Shares Picture Of Her Breast Cancer Surgery

Mumbai: To mark World Cancer day, Ayushmann Khurrana’s wife Tahira Kashyap recently shared a bare back picture of herself captured by photographer Atul Kasbekar.

World Cancer Day is an international day marked on February 4 to raise awareness of cancer and to encourage its prevention, detection, and treatment. World Cancer Day was founded by the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) to support the goals of the World Cancer Declaration, written in 2008.

The primary goal of World Cancer Day is to significantly reduce illness and death caused by cancer and is an opportunity to rally the international community to end the injustice of preventable suffering from cancer.

“Today is my day! Wish you all a happy world cancer day and each one of us celebrates this day in an embracing way,”

“I truly embrace all my scars as they are my badges of honour,” Tahira added.

Earlier in September 2018, Tahira took to Instagram and informed that she was detected with Ductal Carcinoma In Situ in her right breast with high grade malignant cells and had undergone mastectomy. Later her husband, Ayushmann Khurrana confirmed that she is fine.
