Ban On Firecrackers With Over 125 DB Sound In Pune Ahead Of Diwali

Mumbai: Ahead of Diwali, Pune police Joint Commissioner Ravindra Shisave has issued an order banning firecrackers with over 125 decibels (dB) sound within 4 metres from their use from midnight on November 1 till November 30.

It is also forbidden to burst all chain crackers with noise above 100 decibels and more than 125 decibels during this period.

Arbitrarily bursting firecrackers or leaving or throwing alcohol within 50 feet of any street or street, using balloons or fireballs, selling and using firecracker products that generate 125-decibel noise at a distance of 4 meters from the place We do. All firecrackers are being banned.

If the chain crackers are 50 to 100 or more than 100, the noise limit should not exceed 110 or 115 and 125 decibels at a distance of 4 meters from where the firecrackers are lit.

The order states that those who violate this order will be given legal punishment under section 131 of the Maharashtra Police Act.
