Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Arrives In India For 4-Days Visit

Mumbai: To strengthen the bilateral relationship with two countries, Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina arrived in India on a four-day visit.

It has been reported that during her visit she will meet President Ramnath Kovind, later on, will hold bilateral discussions with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 5.

Meanwhile, she will also participate as the chief guest in the India Economic Summit being organized by the World Economic Forum (WEF) in New Delhi.

“Apart from a number of agreements that are to be exchanged between the sides during the visit, the two Prime Ministers will also jointly inaugurate three bilateral projects via video link,” the statement said.

“Prime Minister Hasina and her Indian counterpart Narendra Modi can discuss various issues including the Rohingyas,” the Dhaka Tribune quoted Bangladesh’s High Commissioner, Syed Muazzam Ali as saying.

On the sidelines of the India Economic Forum meeting, the two countries are likely to sign several MoUs in various fields including connectivity, culture, technical cooperation and trade and investment between the two countries.
