Bengaluru Man Kills Wife For Buying Jewellery With House Rent; Held
The Bengaluru Police arrested the man who allegedly murdered his wife for spending the house rent money to buy jewelry
Mumbai: The accused has been identified as Shaik Farooq (40), a resident of Dayanandanagar in Jayanagar 1st block. He was arrested by Siddapura police and was produced before the court, which remanded him in judicial custody.
According to the reports, on Monday Farooq had given Rs 6,500 to Naziya and asked her to pay the house rent. However, his wife, Naziya, had used that money to buy imitation jewellery that she wanted to sell during Diwali.
Later that evening, Farooq asked Naziya about the payment of rent, she told him about her plans to sell jewellery. Farooq got angry at this and this led to a quarrel.
In an outburst of anger, Farooq allegedly hit Naziya in the face and banged her head against the wall.
Although she was rushed to the hospital in an unconscious, she passed away on Tuesday without responding to medical treatment, sources added.
Naziya’s mother Imtiyaz Bi filed a complaint in the Siddapura police against Farooq under a case of murder and carried out investigations.
