‘Big Boss’ 13th Season House Built Under Environmental Friendly

Mumbai: Salman Khan’s Big Boss 13th season is all set to premiere on television. Well, it has been reported that this time the participates will be staying in a new eco-friendly home spread across 18,500 square feet.
The new house of the reality show hosted by Salman Khan is designed by art director-filmmaker Omung Kumar, who has revealed that there has been an attempt to reduce the use of plastic during production.

“We have tried to reduce the use of plastic as much as possible. This is basically done to reduce pollution. We have used more fibre and different plaster of Paris (POP),” he said

Omung said in a group interview here, “Plastic and the thermocol was easy, simple, light and cheap but as Indian citizens, we need to think about the bigger picture. We used POP and fibre, which for a long time Walks.”

Sharing similar views, the show’s producers, Endemol Shine India, said the effort was to become more responsible towards nature.

“We try to eliminate as much plastic as possible. We have also protected the tree, which was already in the area where we built the house. This is not a statement that we are trying to make, but a policy that we are trying to adopt, “said Abhishek Rege, CEO, Endemol Shine India.

“Bigg Boss” this season has been shifted from Lonavala to Filmcity in suburban Mumbai.

The relocation was emphasized to facilitate 53-year-old Salman.

“Salman never had a problem. It was done largely to facilitate the team. We were doing it with the idea of bringing it here and now it has materialized,” he said.

A common design throughout the house is ‘Bigg Boss’s Eye’ and the faces of various animals carved on the walls.

The entrance will see a 20-foot vertical garden in the shape of a double ‘B’, while the swimming pool is built in the shape of an eye, continuing with the general theme of a museum home.

“We call it the ‘Bigg Boss Museum’ because it is cool and colourful at the same time. Museums as a concept justify the interior of the house,” Omung said.

The infamous ‘Confession Room’ features a rustic and mysterious vibe with mirrors bordering the backseat and hundreds of ropes hanging below.

It took 500 to 600 workers to build a house in about six months.

The upcoming season will premiere on Colors channel from September 29.
