BJP Attacks Shivsena Over Maharashtra Government Formation

Mumbai: After breaking 30-year-old alliance BJP president and Home Minister Amit Shah lambasted on Sena says we didn’t break the alliance even though we had a great tie up and coordination with other allies.

He said, “The BJP had never broken coalition religion. At the Center, we got a majority of two times, even then we gave a place to colleagues in the government. We have an absolute majority government in UP, Assam, Tripura, yet we are in government with our allies.”

He went on saying, ” Today the Shiv Sena’s position is such that the Congress imposes conditions on them. On the 23rd, Uddhavji was going to Ayodhya for the Ram temple but did not go. Now, what will he answer on this.”

Further, Shah questioned that the Congress and NCP had 100 seats and Sena had only 50 seats then too the CM post has been given to them. “Congress and NCP fought in an alliance, they have 100 seats, Shiv Sena has close to 50, why did they make Shiv Sena Chief Minister.”

Further, he attacked Congress and claimed to say, ” We did not do horse-trading in Maharashtra, the Congress has done horse-trading, they have bought the entire stables by giving them the post of Chief Minister.”

He also said in all mandates they have cleared with Sena that the CM post will be allotted to Devendra Fadnavis but afterwards, they opposed it but we never surrendered.

“The mandate in Maharashtra was in favour of the BJP, as soon as the result came, the Shiv Sena started putting a different condition. This was not fair in public life,” he added.
