“BJP doesn’t need to prove the majority as of now. We are waiting for the MVA government to declare that they don’t have the numbers,” he added.

Earlier in the day, Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari wrote to the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government seeking details of the orders issued from June 22-25.

Governor Koshyari has asked the state chief secretary to provide complete information on all GRs and circulars issued by the state government by June 22-24, according to a letter from his principal secretary Santosh Kumar.

The letter said that the Governor has sought complete background information regarding the GR, circulars issued by the State Government as well as the deliberations and decisions taken by the state government on these days for being placed before him as mandated under Article 167 of the Constitution.
