Mumbai: Chief Minister of Jharkhand Hemant Soren in response to Railway Minister’s remark that the state is not giving nod for enough trains said that the central government is just playing politics over the issue.
“Lakhs of migrant workers are walking on foot but the Central Govt doesn’t have any mechanism to send them to their homes. The Central Govt is just playing politics over the issue,” said Soren.

He clarified that the Jharkhand government has given NOC to 110 trains to bring back the stranded migrants. And in around 50 trains over 60000 workers had been brought back to the state.
“It has become the habit of BJP & Centre to play politics over everything,” said CM Soren to ANI on Friday.
Union Railways Minister Piyush Goyal had said on Friday that, “It pains me that several states as WB, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh are not giving enough permissions for ‘Shramik Special’ trains to enter their states.”
