BJP Is Using Him: Sanjay Raut On Raj Thackeray’s Postponed Ayodhya Visit

Notably, MNS supremo Raj Thackeray on Friday temporarily postponed his proposed Ayodhya visit till June 5

Mumbai: After MNS chief Raj Thackeray postponed his proposed visit to Ayodhya, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut alleged that the “BJP is using the MNS chief” for political gain.

Sena leader Sanjay Raut on Friday noted that Aditya Thackeray’s Ayodhya visit is scheduled for June 15. He will also visit the Iskcon temple, Raut added.

“I got to know from the media that the other party (MNS) cancelled some programs in Ayodhya. We would have supported them. After all, there’s a huge section of Shiv Sena supporters in Ayodhya (roughly translated),” Sanjay Raut said.

“He (Raj Thackeray) is being used by the BJP. Some people understand it late (roughly translated),” Raut added.

Notably, MNS supremo Raj Thackeray on Friday temporarily postponed his proposed Ayodhya visit till June 5.

He had announced in Pune on April 17 that he would visit Ayodhya on June 5 to seek the blessings of Lord Rama.

Raj Thackeray’s proposed visit saw some objections from BJP leaders. Uttar Pradesh MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh along with some other BJP leaders had announced that they would not allow Raj Thackeray to enter Ayodhya as he humiliated North Indians and demanded an apology from them.
