BJP Leading At UP, Mahagathbandhan Fails

Mumbai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set a huge gap on his rivals in the Varanasi constituency and most of his party leaders led his seats in Uttar Pradesh, even the SP-BSP-RLD contested the BJP in some seats. Given the victory in the Lok Sabha elections in Varanasi and Congress won.

According to the trends in the Election Commission website in the afternoon, Modi was ahead of the difference of more than 3,71,784 lakh votes.

Union ministers Rajnath Singh (Lucknow), Mahesh Sharma (Gautam Buddhist Nagar), Satya Pal Singh (Baghpat), VK Singh (Ghaziabad) and Anupriya Patel (Mirzapur) are leading in the trends of noon.

Following the poor performance of its president Rahul Gandhi, behind the BJP president and minister Smriti Irani, the example of the poor performance of the Congress was given. UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi was ahead of Rae Bareli, the ‘first family’ stronghold.

Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav (Azamgarh) and his father (Mainpuri) were the leaders. BJP has fielded Bhojpuri actor and singer Dinesh Lal Yadav Nirhua against Yadav. SP’s senior leader Azam Khan was ahead of his BJP rival Jaya Prada in Rampur.

Counting of votes is going on for 542 Lok Sabha seats. The seven-phase general election runs from April 11 to May 19.
