BJP MLA Gian Chand Gupta Elected Speaker of Haryana Assembly on First Day of Cabinet Meeting

Mumbai: While the alliance with the Dushyant Chautala party (JJP), BJP had retained his power in haryana. Bharatiya Janata Party MLA from Panchkula, Gian Chand Gupta was unanimously elected as the Speaker of Haryana Assembly on Monday.

His name was first  recommended by the chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar and secondly by the deputy chief minister Dushyant Chautala.

In the assembly polls , BJP felt the shortage of 6 seats for the majority in 90- members in the haryana assembly. Later they coagulate with the JJP who had won 10 seats and managed to get the support of 7 independent MLAs.

This decision had taken immediately after the first cabinet meeting held in Delhi after the Government was formed.

The first assembly of the state begins when the government was blamed for the severe pollution in Delhi due to stubble burning.

Recently he had defeated the Congress candidate chander mohan bishnoi in assembly elections. The first meeting was a success under the leadership of CM manohar lal khattar and took the beneficiary decision for the farmer and students on oct. 29.

Haryana was ahead of set target for procurement of paddy and the state government will leave no stone unturned for the same, khattar said during the cabinet meeting. “We will procure every grain of paddy produced by the farmers of Haryana.”

The CM also said that they will provide the decomposer to the farmer at subsidies and told to avoid stubble burning, “I will announce the decision tomorrow with more details,” he had said.

Khattar along with JJP chief Dushyant Chautala met Governor Satyadev Narayan Arya on October 26 and staked claim to form a government with the support of 57-MLAs.
