BJP Rally In Kolkata: Amit Shah’s Road Show In Violence, BJP Workers, Students of Varsity clash

Mumbai: On Tuesday, BJP chief Amit Shah’s Mega Roadshow in Kolkata caused violent clashes between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Trinamool Congress (TMC) workers. Unprecedented chaos spread after the attack of sticks on Shah’s convoy.

Officials told the news agency PTI, “There was a scuffle between the leftist and BJP student workers in front of the building of the Calcutta University on College Street.” The report claims that three bikes have been set on fire.

The students of Calcutta University allegedly showed black flags because BJP Roadshow had passed in front of their gates and targeted slogans like “Go back to Amit Shah” while targeting the BJP president. Protests fueled BJP supporters who accused students, resulting in a ruckus and scuffle on the spot.
