BJP & Shiv Sena To Allot 18 Seats To It’s Allies RPI For Upcoming Assembly Election

Mumbai: According to the central minister and RPI leader Ramdas Athavle BJP and Shivsena have decided to give 18 seats to their allies. And RPI, on the other hand, have demanded 10 out of 18 seats for their party. The Republican Party Of India has decided that they will contest elections under their symbol.

As per the tweet by ANI the Republican Party of India leader and Union minister Ramdas Athavale himself confirmed the news of BJP allotting 18 seats. The tweet said, “Union Minister & Republican Party leader Ramdas Athawale said that BJP & Shiv Sena have decided to give 18 seats to allies, RPI has demanded 10 out of 18 seats. We’ll contest on our own symbol in the Maharashtra Assembly elections. We don’t want to fight in BJP’s symbol.”

According to the sources, Shivsena has called several meetings for the very same reason. But BJP never responded as to how the seats will be distributed. The sources said that Bhartiya Janata Party had only allotted a maximum of 100 seats for Shiv Sena from a total of 288 seats.

It was said that BJP had earlier settled very less number of seats for Shiv Sena. According to the survey BJP is getting elected more from Maharashtra region and that several Congress politicians shifted to BJP.

As BJP is growing stronger in Maharashtra the party is thinking twice before giving away seats to any other party.
