Bollywood Should Make More Films On Space, Taapsee Pannu Over Mission Mangal

Mumbai: Taapsee Pannu is fully prepared for her upcoming movie ‘Mission Mangal’. This is India’s first space film, Taapsee believes that more films with a background of the space should be detected.

The film is based on the story of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) scientists who contributed to the Mars Orbiter Mission, India’s first inter-campaign campaign.

“This is such a background, which should be made not only by filming Rakesh Sharma or Kalpana Chawla but also on exciting stories. It feels good that Bollywood is ready to explore this place,” Tapes told PTI.

Technically, I do not think we suspect, we are good at VFX and our audience is hungry to see a great view. With Mission Mangal, people will get an out-and-out space movie, she said.

Talking about Mission Mangal, the actress said, “It’s a wonderful, inspirational story. This story is worth sharing with everyone.”

“I was excited to share screen space with such great actors, in which Akshay (Kumar) and Sharman (Joshi) have played an important role, but most of the artists are women. We all worked on the film Very good time,” Pannu said.

Directed by Jagan Shakti the film stars an ensemble cast of Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Nithya Menen, Kirti Kulhari, Sharman Joshi, H. G. Dattatreya, and Sonakshi Sinha.

The film is slated to hit the silver screen on 15 August 2019.
