She also said that 1.9 crore houses will be provided to citizens in the next two years.

Sitharaman said that the Modi government strives to encourage faster adoption of electronic vehicles
“FAME II scheme aims to encourage faster adoption of electric vehicles by right incentives and charging infrastructure,” said Nirmala Sitharaman during the Budget speech on Friday.

She also underlined saying that 9.6 crore toilets have been constructed since Oct 2, 2014. More than 5.6 lakh villages have become open defecation free. We have to build on this success. I propose to expand the Swachh Bharat mission to undertake sustainable solid waste management in every village.
