Mumbai: Nirmala Sitharaman promised access to clean water to all rural households by 2024.
Nirmala Sitharaman said in his speech, “This new ministry will integrate and manage the management of our water resources and water supply and will work in a holistic manner and will work to ensure ‘every house water’ [water in each house] with water” All the rural families under ‘Life Mission’.
“Enabling India’s water security and providing safe drinking water to all Indians is a priority, a major step in this direction has been set up by the Ministry of Water Resources,” she said.
