Building Collapse In Gurugram, Seven Bodies Recovered

Mumbai: National Disaster Rescue Force (NDRF) launched a rescue mission in Ullavas area of Gururgram, where a building collapsed. As per reports four daily laborers two security guards and one unemployed person lost their life in the incident.

The building collapsed in an hour, as soon as the fire department received the call from Ullawas villager they rushed towards the spot for the rescue operation.

“The semi-constructed three storey building, with concrete roofing placed for the fourth floor, collapsed resulting in the entire building coming down,” Isham Singh, chief fire officer of Gurugram, was quoted saying by IANS.

Allegedly, the building is owned by Daya Ram, a resident of the same village. He is absconding after the incident and a manhunt has been launched. The police have registered it under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar had announced a compensation of Rs 3 lakh each to family members of the dead.
