Mumbai: On Saturday, Chief of Naval staff, Admiral Sunil Lanba knowledged that India’s first Indigenous Aircraft carrier (IAC), Vikrant by 202, will be delivered to the Indian Navy.
“At Kochi shipyard ltd, IAC Vikrant is undergoing outfitting. Harbour acceptance are in progress and post half of this year sea trial will also be commence”, The Chief said.
He added saying, ” The Aircraft will be delivered by 2021 to Navy”.
INS Vikrant is the first Aircraft carrier to be built for Navy in India. It is also known as India’s Indigenous Aircraft (IAC).
