Cameron Bancroft Wants To Play Once Again For The Ausies After The Ball Tempering Scandal

Mumbai: Cameron Bancroft the Australian Batsmen wants to play once again for his countryside Australia.
Bancroft was banned for a nine months tenure along with Steve Smith and David Warner for their ball – tempering scandal.

The scandal was caught as they, with sandpaper in their hand, were altering the ball according to the conditions when against South Africa in the third test.

“Tampering with a ball is definitely wrong and disappointment for me as well as the team. It was shocking, but it is in the past now and wants to play for Australia once again with 100 per cent,” said Bancroft

“As much as I missed cricket, the opportunity it gave me to look at myself was one of the best things that ever happened to me,” he said. “I had to go home. Sit with me, grieve, forgive myself, and then ultimately move forward,” he added.

The 26-year-old served the ban till last year December and now he is set to lead Durham in the County Championship this season.
