Can We Stop Judging A Woman Based On Her Necklines: Samantha To Trolls

Slamming the trollers, Samantha shared a note on Saturday (March 12) to express her displeasure over her ‘snap decision’. Raising an important question, the actress said that people should stop judging a woman on the basis of the ‘hemlines and necklines’ of her outfit.

“As a woman, I bear firsthand knowledge of what it means to be judged. We judge women based on what they wear, their race, education, social standing, appearance, skin tone and the list goes on and one. Making snap judgements about a person simply based on the clothes they wear is quite literally the easiest thing one can do,” she wrote on her Instagram story.

“Now that we’re in the year 2022 can we finally stop judging a woman based on the hemlines and necklines she adorns and focus instead on bettering ourselves?” she added.

“Turning that judgement inward and training it on one’s own self is evolution! Projecting our ideals on someone else never did anyone any good… let’s gently rewrite the way we measure and understand a person!,” the Eega star wrote.

On the professional front, Samantha Ruth Prabhu will be next seen in Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal.

The romantic comedy-drama co-starring Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara is slated to release on April 28, 2022.

The U-Turn star, who made her digital debut with The Family Man 2, also has Shaakuntalam and Yashoda in her kitty.
