Caught Off Guard, Didn’t Know Camera Was On Us: Anushka As Pics Of Daughter Go Viral

Mumbai: After the broadcaster of the third South Africa-India ODI showed Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s daughter Vamika on screen, Anushka again urged people to not click and publish Vamika’s photos.

Time and again, the power couple has urged the media and fans not to click or circulate their daughter’s pictures. However, on Sunday (January 23), the live telecast of the match showed Anushka cheering for her husband with Vamika in her arms from the stands.

Clips and pictures of Kohli’s daughter broke the internet as soon as the broadcaster put the camera on the duo. Anushka is also aware of this as she narrated the incident on her Instagram story. The Bollywood actress revealed that she was caught wrongfully and maintained her previous request not to circulate Vamika’s pictures.

“Hey guys! We realise that our daughter’s images were captured at the stadium yesterday and widely shared thereafter. We want to inform everyone that we were caught off guard and didn’t know that the camera was on us. Our stance and request on the matter stay the same. We would really appreciate it if Vamika’s images are not clicked/ published for reasons we have explained earlier. Thank you!” Anushka wrote on Instagram.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli enjoyed a stellar performance with the bat in the game as he scored a scintillating half-century. He also took out a special festival for his daughter Vamika after reaching the historical site. The 33-year-old scored 65 off 84 balls before falling victim to left-arm spinner Keshav Maharaj.

Apart from them, Shikhar Dhawan and Deepak Chahar also scored half-centuries. However, their effort went in vain as South Africa won the series 3–0, registering a four-run victory.
