CBI Records Unnao Rape Survivor’s Statement, Case On Its Final Stage
Mumbai: CBI has recorded the statement of the Unnao rape victim in the case of the road accident. the accidents had cost her the life of her mother and aunt, also her lawyer was critically injured.
The victim was said to be progressing, whereas her lawyer is still critical.
The rape victim was flown from the King George’s Medical University in Lucknow to AIIMS in Delhi in a critical condition and has now been shifted to the ward, the officials said. When the doctor confirmed she was fit enough to talk with people, the CBI officials recorded her statement.
The Uttar Pradesh MLA Kuldeep Sengar had raped the teen in the year 2017 when she was still a minor. He was later expelled from the BJP party. The accused was also alleged of planning the truck accident. The accused was also alleged of threatening the survivor so that she does not involve police or file a case.
