‘Centre Ceded Thousands Of km Of Indian Land To China’ , Alleges Rahul Gandhi

Mumbai: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Monday hit out at the Center and alleged that the government has handed over thousands of kilometres of India’s territory to China.

In a tweet today, the Congress leader wrote, “Mr Modi and his minions have ceded thousands of km of Indian land to China. When exactly are we getting it back?”

Army sources informed ANI on Saturday that the 12th round of Corps Commander level talks between India and China concluded at 7.30 pm on the Chinese side of the Line of Actual Control in Moldo.

According to ANI sources, in the meeting that lasted for nine hours, both sides discussed the issues of resolving the ongoing military standoff with the Eastern Ladakh sector.

India and China have already parted ways on Pangong Lake after extensive talks and the Gogra Heights and Hot Springs areas are yet to be resolved as these friction points were created after the Chinese invasion last year.

Last year, there was a clash between the two sides in the Galwan Valley, in which several Chinese and Indian soldiers were killed. Although India has announced that it has lost 20 soldiers in the conflict, China is yet to acknowledge the number of its dead soldiers.

There have been many rounds of talks between India and China but the result was nothing special. The Chinese are also dragging their feet to resolve issues at friction points and are reluctant to address long-standing issues.
