Centre Rolls Back Its Order Mandating COVID19 Patients To Visit Health Center

Mumbai: After continuous demands by Kejriwal government for a rollback of centre’s order mandating COVID-19 patients to visit care centres for health assessment, the mandate was finally rolled back by the centre on Thursday.

Delhi’s Deputy CM Manish Sisodia said in a conference, ” Central Govt has rolled back its order mandating COVID-19 patients to visit COVID care centres for health assessment. Now medical teams will visit people at their home to assess whether they can stay in home isolation & need to be sent to the hospital.”

Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal approved modifications to the home quarantine procedure and made it compulsory for those who having serious symptoms and not having proper facilities to visit health centres.

Asymptotic patients and those with mild to moderate symptoms are been asked to stay in home-isolation to reduce the stress at Delhi hospitals.
