Chhattisgarh Students Of Classes 1-9 And 11 To Be Promoted To Next Class

Mumbai: In view of the outbreak of COVID-19, the students of the state studying from class 1 to 9 and class 11 will be given a general promotion in the academic session 2019-20, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel issued an order to the Director of Public Education in this regard.

To control the infection of novel coronaviruses in the state, the state government closed all schools from 19 March and postponed the examinations of High School and Higher Secondary School.

Subsequently, the entire Chhattisgarh was closed from March 20. Subsequently, a nationwide bandh was called by the central government from 24 March to 14 April.

Class 1 to 9 and Class 11 exams could not be held due to the school being closed for so long. It also does not seem possible to conduct the examination in the near future. In view of this, the state government has decided to give general promotion to students studying from class 1 to 9 and class 11.
