Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi Denies Allegations Put On Him For Sexual Harassment

Mumbai: On April 19, a former Supreme Court woman employee alleges Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi for sexually harassing her at his residential address on October 2018.

An ordeal was written by her to 22 Supreme Court judges.

However, Chief Justice Gogoi has denied the allegations put on him. He neglected to even reply to the matter saying as inappropriate.

On a hearing on Saturday CJi Gogoi said, “Undoubtedly, every employee are treated fairly and with decency.

This employee was there for one and half month. I deem to be inappropriate to reply to these allegations”.

Since October 2018. Ranjan Gogoi is serving as the 46th Chief Justice at Supreme Court Of India after taking over Dipak Mishra.

Keshab Chandra Gogoi is the father of Ranjan Gogoi and also former Chief Minister of Assam.
