Chinese Foreign Minister Urges India To Punish Those Responsible For The Conflict

Mumbai: China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi has requested India to punish those who are responsible for the conflict that took place in the Galwan Valley on 15th June, reported news agency ‘Reuters’.

Quoting China’s foreign ministry in their report, they said India and China agree to resolve border clashes in a fair way and to de-escalate as soon as possible.

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and India’s Minister of External Affairs S Jaishankar on Wednesday had a telephonic discussion about the border issue on the LAC.

During the discussion with MEA Jaishankar, Mr. Wang emphasized that both sides should strengthen communication and coordination to resolve their differences to maintain peace and tranquility along the border area.

After almost 5 decades, there was a violent clash between both the armies on the Line of Actual Control, which led to losses of lives on both sides.
