Communist Party of India-Marxist To Contest For Three Seats In Rajasthan

Mumbai: India is two weeks away from Lok Sabha Election, as each and every party has geared up for their campaigns, meanwhile Communist Party of India-Marxist has decided its candidates on two of the three seats that it would contest in Rajasthan.

The CPM’s Central Election Committee, which had announced that the party will contest three seats in Rajasthan, from the reserved seat of Bikaner, has fielded Amra Ram from Shiyopat Ram and Sikar.

Sheopat Ram said, “We will contest the elections from the three parliamentary seats of the state, I have been given a chance from Bikaner seat, while Amra Ram will contest from Sikar and the party has not decided the name of the candidate for the Churu.”State assembly elections last year failed from Raisinghnagar seat.

Sheopat Ram will face BJP leader and Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal who is contesting for the third time from Bikaner. Congress has to give the name of its candidate for Bikaner right now,

In the state assembly elections, the CPM won two seats including Bhadra and Dungargarh.

Lok Sabha elections in the state are to be held in two phases on April 29 and May.
