Congress Does Not Consider Kashmir As India’s Internal Matter: Amit Shah

Mumbai: Union home minister Amit Shah said that BJP has consistently said that Kashmir is an internal matter of India, a Congress leader close to Rahul Gandhi told UK Labor Party leader Jeremy Corbyn that the situation is not normal in Kashmir. Shah made this remark while addressing a public rally here on Friday.

“Kamal Dhaliwal, foreign Congress chief, close to Rahul Gandhi, met Jeremy Corbyn (leader of UK Labor Party) and said that situation in Kashmir is not normal. I want to ask Rahul Gandhi, what your party wants on matters by discussing matters of the country with foreign leaders? ”Amit Shah asked.

Shah said that no Indian Prime Minister, except PM Narendra Modi, showed courage to repeal Article 370 giving special status to Jammu and Kashmir.

Shah said, “Apart from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, no other Prime Minister has dared to remove Article 370 in 70 years. For the first time, Kashmir has become an integral part of India.”

Shah also said that Congress and NCP have opposed the abolition of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir and in the Maharashtra Assembly elections, voters should ask them about their stand on Kashmir issue.

He said, “Article 370 was the biggest obstacle in the integration of Kashmir with India. In 70 years no other Prime Minister has shown the courage to abolish Article 370, but Narendra Modi did it.”

Shah said, “Congress slave Nabi Azad said in Parliament that if Article 370 is repealed, the river of blood will flow in Kashmir. But I would like to share with you that even after the repeal of Article 370 a drop Not even shed blood.”

Shah said, “Congress and NCP opposed the abolition of Section 370. When they come to ask for your vote, you should ask what is their stand on it.”

“Maharashtra has seen a lot of loot in the state by the NCP-Congress government in 15 years. The government started the Adarsh ​​Awas Yojana for the widows of our soldiers, but they did not give up. They took them too. away from homes,” Shah he said.

“I say this with great pride that there have been no corruption claims against Devendra Fadnavis in the last five years, and PM Modi has not been accused in the last six years. Even the opposition cannot talk about corruption by the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister,” he said.

Section 370 was abolished on 5 August, dividing Jammu and Kashmir into its special status and dividing it into two union territories – Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. Elections are due in Maharashtra on 21 October. The BJP is forging an alliance with the Shiv Sena. The Congress is contesting in alliance with the NCP. The counting of votes will take place on October 24.
