Congress To Deliver Rs 72,000, If Came In Power To The 20% Poorest Family By Implementing NYAY

Mumbai: On Monday, the Indian National Congress stated that they will implement ‘Nyuntam Aay Yojana’ (NYAY) from which 72,000 rupees each year will be granted to the 20% poorest family if Congress came in power.

INC President Rahul said, ‘As the part of ‘final assault of poverty’, this scheme is different and unique over all the countries in the world. From NYAY, minimum income guarantee will be delivered’.

He said, ‘Through NYAY, poor people will be eligible for the minimum income guarantee scheme as for the last 5 years poor people are the one who has suffered a Lot.

Congress leader further added saying, ‘Congress guarantees that Rs 70,000 will be directly credited into the accounts of 20% poorest family in the country’.

Rahul had also earlier spoke on a rally about this scheme.

He said through NYAY of 5 crore families, 25 crore people will be able to enjoy this scheme. Further explaining about the scheme, Rahul said that the families will be eligible for Rs 12,000 each month and if any group is not earning till it than the rest of the amount will be a top-up to bring it to the benchmark of Rs 12,000.

Congress leader said that like the MNREGA, which was implemented by the UPA government, the NYAY is also decided by proper calculations.

Countering PM Narendra Modi, Rahul said, ‘If PM Modi can give money to the richest people in the country than Congress will provide money to the poor people in the country. He said each family distinguish of any religion, caste or gender will get the benefit of NYAY’.

‘Its the promise by Congress and we will fulfil it’, Rahul added.

‘Like how we waive off the farmer loan in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, we will fully deliver the scheme and money to the poor people of the country’, INC President Rahul.

He said, ‘Before the electoral process I have made the promise and had fulfilled it within 10 days’.

The due 2019 Lok Sabha elections will be started on April 11 and will continue till 19th of May. Results will be declared on May 23.
