Coronavirus Cases Rises To 98 In Karnataka

Mumbai: According to the state government, the total number of coronavirus cases in Karnataka increased to 98 on Tuesday.

This includes 3 deaths and 6 patients who were cured and discharged, taking active cases to 89.

Meanwhile, Karnataka Home Minister Basavaraj S Bommai said that his government had been successful in tracking more than 24 people in Bengaluru who had joined the Tablighi Jamaat program in Delhi earlier this month.

“More than 24 people who attended the Tablighi Jamaat event in Delhi, appeared in Bengaluru. We have extinguished 54 people. 8 people have died in Bidar as well. 1 person was found positive in Bidar and we denied them. Has done. There are people who attended jamaat from almost all districts of the state,” Bommai told ANI here.

The total number of COVID-19 positive cases has risen to 1251 in India, according to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. This includes 101 people who have been discharged or cured of the highly contagious respiratory illness.
