Mumbai: Coronovirus has died in India after the death of a 65-year-old COVID-19 patient who returned from the UAE in Mumbai. He was admitted to Kasturba Hospital and died on Monday.
All States and union territories have declared a lockout on outbreaks of coronavirus and the total number of coronavirus cases currently exceeds 490.

According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in India has risen to 492.
Out of 492, 451 are Indian citizens, while the remaining 41 are foreigners.

The central government has taken several steps to prevent the rapid spread of the virus, including stopping passenger traffic coming to 107 immigration checkpoints at all airports, seaports, land ports, rail ports and riverine ports.
The 548 districts in the country have a complete lockdown affecting several hundred million people. Indian Railways has also cancelled all passenger train operations till 31 March.
