Court To Reject Salman’s Bail In Poaching Case If He Misses Hearing

Mumbai: According to ANI news agency Salman who was sentenced to 5 years in jail in the 1998 Blackbuck poaching case and had later received the bail has been warned by Jhodpur court Khan for his disappearance from the hearings.

The court has said that if the actor fails to appear before them in the next hearing, his bail will be rejected. This warning came after Salman Khan did not appear in the hearing today.

Last year, Salman Khan was convicted by a trial court for killing two blackbucks back in 1998 during the shooting of Hum Saath Saath Hain.

Now the next date of hearing is 27th September. The Court directed Salman Khan to be present before it on that date.

After Salman was convicted, his lawyer Anand Desai said in a statement: “We respect the Honorable Court’s decision. When we are studying the decision, then this whole investigation and the nature of this fact Came in the form of a surprise.” The case was for which Salman was acquitted by the Honorable High Court of Rajasthan in two cases, and even the Honorable CJM had filed a case for an alleged crime in the Arms Act case the same night as the subject of the present case.”
