COVID-19: Death Toll In India Rises To 20, As Kerala Reports First Death
Mumbai: District Medical Officer of Ernakulam, Drs. NK Kuttappan has said that a 69-year-old man died of coronavirus at Kochi Medical College on Saturday, the first death from coronavirus in Kerala.
The number of deaths from coronavirus in India has increased to 20. Apart from Kerala, 11 states and union territories have reported deaths from coronaviruses.

Maharashtra has the highest number of deaths from coronavirus.
Officials said on Saturday that in a recent report, more people tested positive for coronavirus in Maharashtra, taking the total number of such cases to 159 in the state.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has said that the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in India has increased to 834.
