COVID-19: Five More Coronavirus Positive Cases Reported In Madhya Pradesh

Mumbai: According to Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College officials, five more people, none of whom have travel history, have tested positive for coronavirus. Four out of five have been diagnosed in Indore while one case is from Ujjain.

Officials further said that 40 years, 48 ​​years, 21 years and 38 years of men are involved in the cases of Indore. However, the case of Ujjain is of a 17-year-old woman. It has also been added that all these are contacts with the earlier positive cases of infection as no one has a travel history.

Meanwhile, Coronavirus cases in India have reached 979, while the number of deaths has risen to 25, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

The latest figures have also confirmed that Maharashtra is the most affected state in the country with 177 confirmed cases of coronavirus. This is closely followed by Kerala which has 168 cases. Karnataka ranks third on this list with 55 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
