COVID-19: India Reports 1,993 Cases And 73 Deaths In Last 24 Hours

Mumbai: India has recorded a massive number of cases in the last 24 hours increasing the tally to 35,043 with 1,993 cases reported in a day according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Death toll report shows 1,147 figures with 73 fresh deaths. At present, the country witnessed 25,007 active cases with 8,888 recoveries and 1 migration.

Maharashtra remains the hardest-hit state with 10,498 cases followed by Gujarat 4,395 cases and Delhi with 3,515 cases.

North-Eastern states have been successful in flattening the curve reporting 2 cases in Tripura, 2 cases in Manipur and 1 case in Arunachal Pradesh, all cured and discharged. However, Assam is yet to recover 12 active cases followed by Meghalaya with 11 active cases and alone case in Mizoram.

Apart from this Goa has also been declared Covid-19 free state by the Health Ministry.
