Covid-19: Pune Surges To 2,122 Cases Taking The Death Toll to 115

Mumbai: Pune records 71 new cases and 4 deaths related to Coronavirus on Tuesday taking the tally to 2,122 in the district.

The same day, 54 patients were recovered and discharged taking the tally to 553 according to the state health minister.

The Public Health Minister, Rajesh Tope visited a Pune Hospital to review the preparedness. He had advised the healthcare authorities to take care of the patients and provide them with good food, clean water and all other facilities during the outbreak.

Maharashtra’s Covid-19 figure has amounted to 14,541. Despite the soaring figures, the state has discharged over 350 patients, taking the cumulative 2,465 discharges up to date.
