COVID-19 Vaccination Will Be Free In Bihar, Even In Private Hospitals: CM Nitish

Mumbai: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday said that the COVID-19 vaccination will be “absolutely free” in the entire Bihar state.

He said, “Such facility will be made available even at private hospitals. It will be facilitated by the state government.” Notably, the Centre on Saturday announced that private COVID-19 vaccination centres can charge up to ₹250 per dose of vaccine.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi led a massive vaccination campaign against COVID-19 disease at this stage, which was carried out in AIIMS before today.

Those who are eligible to get vaccinated at this stage can register themselves on the Co-WIN 2.0 portal through their mobile number after a step-by-step process. After registration, the portal will present the list of government and private hospitals designated as COVID Immunization Centers (CVCs) along with the date and time of the available schedule.
