COVID-19 Vaccine Dry Run To Be Conducted By All States On January 2: Govt

Mumbai: The government today announced that COVID-19 vaccine dry run will be conducted by all the states and UT governments on January 2, 2021.

The central government has ordered the purchase of about 83 crore syringes. Additionally, bids have also been invited for about 35 crore syringes. “They will be used for COVID-19 vaccination and also for the universal vaccination program,” the central government said.

Meanwhile, the central government has asked all states to gear up for the roll-out of Kovid-19 vaccine. The Health Secretary chaired a high-level meeting with all the States / UTs.

“The dry run will be conducted by all states and union territories on January 2, 2021 (Saturday). The activity is proposed to be conducted in at least 3 session sites in all state capitals.
