COVID-19: Yogi Govt Announces Rs 50 Lakh Insurance Cover For UP Police Personnel
Mumbai: In a recent development, the Uttar Pradesh government announced an insurance cover of Rs 50 lakh for police personnel in the state in view of COVID-19, Additional Chief Secretary Avnish Awasthi said on Wednesday.
“The Chief Minister’s Office will soon issue a written order regarding the same,” Awasthi said on Twitter.
He instructed media persons to wear masks and said that if any person does not use the mask, they will be stopped.
Additional Chief Secretary warned people against sharing fake posts related to COVID-19 on social media.
According to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, 305 people tested positive for coronovirus in Uttar Pradesh, treating 21 and discharged and 3 died.
