CRPF Is At Forefront Keeping Our Nation Safe: PM Narendra Modi

Mumbai: On the 82nd Foundation Day of the Central Reserve Police Force, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday greeted his personnel.

The Prime Minister said on Twitter that CRPF is at the forefront of keeping our country safe.

“Greetings to all @crpfindia personnel on the 82nd Raising Day of this outstanding Force. CRPF is at the forefront of keeping our nation safe. The courage and professionalism of this force are widely admired. May the CRPF achieve even greater heights in the coming years,” he said in a tweet.

The CRPF came into existence on 27 July 1939 as the Crown Representative’s police. It became the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on December 28, 1949, when the CRPF Act was enacted. It has completed 80 years of glorious history. CRPF has a mandate to protect the country’s internal security landscape
