CSK Beats SRH By 7 Wickets, Retained It’s Top Slot In Points Table

Mumbai: Must win a game for SRH if they want to qualify in top 4 as they are at the fourth position at the points table.

Meanwhile, Manish Pandey who made brought his form in this match itself scored 83* off just 49 balls due to which SRH managed to score 175 runs where Vijay Shankar also contributed well 26 off 20 balls.

For CSK Harbhajan Singh took 2 wickets following Deepak Chahar provided 1 wicket for his side.

Chasing the target of 176 runs CSK started of the slowly only single digit was visible in 3 over itself which made Faf du Plessis to take wrong decision and got run out by Deepak Hooda.

Where Shane Watson was struggling to time the ball well, Suresh Raina struck the ball well scored 38 off just 24 balls, but lost his wicket to Rashid Khan.

It was Shane Watson show as he started hitting of well missed his century by just 4 runs scored 96 off just 53 balls it was captain Bhuvneshwar Kumar to dismissed the dangerous batsman.

On the other hand, Ambati Rayudu was building his innings in a very matured way his team was in a good position. It was a breathtaking match as CSK took the match into last over but Kedar made it easy for his team and struck winning runs for CSK.

With this win, CSK retained its top slot on the point table. Where SRH need to make a strong come back to get momentum for qualifying in playoffs.
