Deepika Padukone Starrer Film Chhapaak Trailer Out: The Untold Story Will Surely Pull Out Your Heart
Mumbai: A standing ovation will be the first reaction after watching Meghna Gulzar-directorial Chhapaak trailer which was released recently.
Starring Deepika Padukone and Vikrant Messey the film revolves around the untold true story of the acid attack survivor, Laxmi Aggarwal.
Well, the trailer begins with a heavy Protest which follows the 2012 Nirbhaya Case. Introduction of Deepika Padukone (Malti) can be seen in pain on the roadside, face down as acid is thrown on her by unseen men. Later the trailer follows the untold journey of the acid victim with a scarred face, later facing trouble by a society which makes her yo give up all fondness of dressing up.
Later accepting the challenge by society Malti takes a step ahead and start fighting her case, were Vikrant Messey enters in her life which makes her believe that love exists beyond the norms of physical beauty.
Directed by Filmfare award winner Meghna Gulzar the film will hit the theatres on January 10, 2020
