Defamation Case Filed By BJP Leader Gautam Gambhir Against Delhi’s CM Arvind Kejriwal

Mumbai: Former cricketer an BJP leader Gautam Gambhir recently filed a defamation case against AAP president and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal this comes after the allegations of distributing offensive pamphlets levelled against him by his opponent Atishi.

“I condemn what has happened. I am from a family where I am taught to respect women. I do not know that CM Arvind Kejriwal will stoop such a small amount. I have filed a defamation suit, “he said, quoting the news agency ANI.

Earlier on Thursday, Gautam had accused the politician of Kejriwal of blaming him for taking the line forward and would withdraw his candidature if proved guilty. He also challenged the AAP chief to step down from Delhi’s CM post, if the charges against him are proved wrong.

Earlier Gambhir was, accused of joining a malicious campaign by distributing pamphlets with abusive language against East Delhi Patriarch AAP candidate was accused.
