Delhi Sees 231 COVID-19 Cases, Lowest Since March 2; Positivity Rate At 0.36%

Delhi: Delhi reported 231 new Covid-19 cases, the lowest since March 2, and a drop in the positivity rate by 0.36. According to a health bulletin released on Monday, 36 people have also died in the national capital in the last 24 hours.

According to the Delhi government’s health bulletin, the total number of cases has gone up to 14,29,475 and the death toll has gone up to 24,627.

The national capital has been witnessing a steady decline in daily coronavirus cases over the past few weeks and active cases in Delhi now stand at 5,208 which is the lowest since March 25. The recovery rate has also improved and is now at 97.91 per cent.

A total of 876 people have recovered from the disease in a span of 24 hours, taking the total number of cured people to 13,99,640. There are 11,420 containment zones in the national capital. The mortality rate is 1.72 per cent.

A total of 63,610 tests were conducted during the last 24 hours, while over 1.98 crore tests have been conducted so far.
