Delhi Women Commission Busted Sex Racket In Aman Vihar

Mumbai: Delhi Women Commission (DCW) recently arrested four persons and busted the sex racket, it was a joint operation of DCW and police in the exterior of Delhi.

According to PTI report, the DCW received a call on Women Helpline 181 about prostitution racket from a neighbouring house in Aman Vihar.

When the DCW team interacted with the residents they confirmed that sex racket was being run from the house during day time.

As the operation starts, it was brought to attention that four women enter the house around 10.30 in the morning.

After this, one of them left home after 15 minutes. Soon, men on the bike and scooters started coming in the house. They were seen calling before entering the premises. He said that the bamboo cheeks covered the house in such a way that it was difficult to see what was going on inside.

The DCW team informed the police and after that in the afternoon, entered the campus with the police. He said that the team found six to seven men and three women in the house.

As soon as they caught the house owner tried to escape with four men from the back door, but later caught by the residents around the house, women panel said.

The DCW team took all the people to Aman Vihar police station where the women said that they were adults and were engaged in prostitution on their own.

They said that they use to get Rs 250 per customer and every woman had to sleep with at least seven clients a day. While a woman told that she was an orphan, another said that she had been subjected to physical abuse by her husband’s and that she had chosen this method to support her family. The third girl, who was Assamese, refused to say anything, she said.

A senior police officer said that three women and a man, who was the owner of the house, were arrested. Their investigation is going on.fa
