Delhi’s Daily COVID-19 Cases Rise Again After Dropping For 5 Days, 13,287 Cases Recorded

Mumbai: The daily surge in coronavirus cases in Delhi saw an increase on Wednesday after dropping for five straight days. As many as 13,287 new cases and 300 deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours, while the positivity rate came down to 17 per cent, the lowest in a month.

13,287 new cases came from 78,035 trials, including 63315 RTPCR / CBNAAT / True Net tests, which were conducted on Tuesday.

The health bulletin said that 14,071 people were recovered from the infection during the period.

There are now 82,725 active cases, down from 83,809 on the previous day and 49,974 of them are in isolation.

The cumulative number of cases is 13,61,986 and the death rate is 20,310.

According to the Health Bulletin, more than 12.58 lakh people have either recovered, migrated or been discharged.
