Mumbai: The development of people of UP gives speed to the development of India, PM Narendra Modi said on Wednesday in Barabanki.

Addressing an election rally in UP, the PM said that the state maybe 7 per cent of the total area of ​​the country in terms of area, but in terms of population, it is more than 16 per cent of the population of India.

If they had even a little empathy, would they have given the freedom to goons who used to molest our school-going daughters? Today goons know that if they cross boundaries, strict action will be taken,” he added.

The Prime Minister also targeted the opposition parties over the politics of the dynasty, saying that the dynastic want the poor to always be at their feet and revolve around them.

We care about the poor and we are working to reduce the problems of their life, so the poor of UP are standing with BJP and blessing the saffron party at every level.

We are not ‘parivaar wala’ but we identify the pain of all families because entire India is our family, entire Uttar Pradesh is my family, the PM told voters in Barabanki.

The elections in UP will be held seven phases and the result will be announced on March 10.
